Less than 24 hours to go. I’m super nervous this morning simply because I got a phone call confirming my appointment and because I’ve got questions regarding the sedation process. I know I shouldn’t be nervous and to trust my dentist but I’m just afraid of drugs.

I’m waiting for him to return my call because I need my mind put at ease. I can’t focus at work until I hear back from him. My gut is a mess, my heart’s racing and my hands are shaking.

From my understanding I’m to take 3 sedatives, let them kick in and then some gas to relax me so I’ll just fall asleep. My vitals will be monitored of course, I’m sure he is out for my safety. I should be excited about this. I can get rid of these awful bottom teeth and get a good clean up of my gums.

**Still waiting for a return call – I called back and the girl said she’d have him call me back during his lunch. I know he’s super busy cuz he’s just a kick-ass dentist! LOL!

I just keep thinking that I have the next 4 days off from work but in actuality I’ll probably only remember 2 of them.
