It’s that time again. Ok, so I had my full mouth X-ray done at the beginning of July and was told that I wouldn’t need to be seen until August. I dropped in to make a payment today and saw Dr. Nirav behind the counter.  I gave him a smile and a wave. Smiling seems to be a great thing for me these days. I’m loving it! Even with plastic teeth, I know that they’re not black and crooked anymore.

So, anyway, he comes over and I said, “so what’s next, when, what’s happening now?” He chuckled a bit and said that the X-rays are fine and that he’s just waiting for me to finish healing. I had one socket that was a bit big and he’s waiting for the bone to heal more around the implant (is what I”m guessing at). So he wants to take a small X-ray in August to have a look at how that’s coming along. I panicked a little because bite wings are what triggered my gag reflex from the beginning and is what stopped me from going way back when. So he said to come and not take sedation. It’ll be real quick! I’ll be in and out in 15 minutes. I have to trust him…. and I shall! I love the guy!! 😀

So after that, if the X-rays shows improvement then the following week I go in for 3 crowns on the bottom, a 2+ hour appointment, sedated of course! LOL. Moving right along! I should be done with my bottoms in 3 visits and then on to the tops!

ALMOST THERE!! I’m so excited!!!  And to add to my excitement, on a side note I’m gonna start my own business. I feel I’ve come along way with things in my life and starting my own business is a dream I’ve had for a while. But I had lacked such self-confidence with my teeth, it made it impossible for me to talk to people face to face.
