It’s been nearly a week since my last appt. which was a root canal, tooth pulling and a temp bridge to go in place of the pulled tooth. By the way, I have the tooth that got pulled sealed in an envelope. Lyn decided to keep it. LOL! Anyway, the next day I had a bit of trouble chewing seems the moulding of the bridge was a little sharp and causing an ulcer on the side of my tongue. That night I found some left over dental wax and attempted to cover the sharp bits and in turn, the bridge fell off.

Now normally I would panic when something “falls out” of my mouth like that. But I think I’ve finally gotten used to having foreign plastic in my mouth and it was no big deal. Had it been a front teeth bridge – well then I’d panic!

Called the dentists the next day and he said to bring it with me on my next appointment and I thought why? Ugh! When am I getting the permanents in? Guess I’m really getting impatient. Then said I could leave it off but try not to chew on that side. DIFFICULT! Since that’s the side I can ONLY chew on! Ah well…. I managed but it was hard to do. Lots of soft foods this week. Hoping I lost a couple of kilos but I doubt it…. My pants are still snug.

So I’m booked in for three more weeks. Geez the permanents better be soon! Not sure if the next three weeks are for top and bottoms or just my bottoms. I never know what I’m in for these days but to be quite honest….. I don’t care. He knows what he’s doing… I trust him and I have faith in him making me all pwitty again! Just as long as I take my sedatives….. Hahahaha!
