Just knowing I was only going to take one sedative put my mindset into overdrive. I had a real hard time trying to calm myself before taking the one pill and even after taking it. Dr. nirav called me in and I immediately said I had only taken one. He said I could take another half if I was feeling uneasy still or even the other whole. With an upset look at Lyn’ s face, I reluctantly took the second one.

I tried some gas as well but for some reason the smell of the mask has a funny odour to it and it made me nauseous. I opted to go without the gas and stay on the sedatives.

I didn’t really do too bad considering it was more prep work for the crowns with the remaining teeth and some struggles with removing the lower bridge which ended up breaking into a few parts (new ones being made as I type this). Then I had the lower impressions taken, and then next thing I knew I had a tray full of goop for upper impressions! I did so great with the uppers because he didn’t have to numb the tops.

No sooner were the impressions taken, then out came the cameras. Lyns iPhone and Dr. Niravs camera to take pictures of the bottom posts protruding from my gums! Very weird! My temporary lower bridge pieced back together and placed back on my teeth/gums because I refused to walk around like metal mouth from the James Bond 007 movie. Hoping by Friday ill have a new set of bottoms because these wont last another week or two. The permanent teeth will take about 10 days. He said he’s using someone local. Now whether he means local as in Cairns, or local as in Townsville, I don’t know, as he said he normally uses a lab down in Sydney.

I sat up after the bridge was put back on and I picked my tooth colour. B1. Not that that tells you the colour but dr. Nirav says he thinks that it would look nice with my skin shade. It’s not a bright white but not a dull grey either. Just nice. And they’ll be straight! I’m so super excited! Even though it’ll be a couple weeks to finish my bottoms I may not be entirely finished until after the new year. Who knows tho, with all the delays I have had lately, maybe there won’t be anymore and I will be done sooner than I think? Can’t wait….just can’t wait!!
