If you’re following along, you’ll notice my last post was Feb. 12th. It’s now March 18th. Been struggling to keep it together while waiting for my permanents to be made. Seems Dr. Nirav wants to get it right and I don’t blame him the least bit. The lab that’s making them are in Sydney, and of course I’m in Cairns. So instead of them posting them up here and then sending them back because somethings wrong will just take too long so they are sending images up to him and he’s reviewing them via email. If they’re not right, he tells them what to modify etc etc etc. So this is the reason for them taking so long. He wants them PERFECT. Yeah, so do I. After waiting this long? Yeah.

When they finally come in, I’ll have a semi-final appointment  with Dr. Nirav to look at them first and see them before they get permanently placed in my mouth. Then I can take my seds when I make the grand final appointment knowing they are perfect!

My temporary tops are barely hanging on. The two front teeth are now split in half and I can feel them bend and split when I eat. I have broken off bits and pieces here and there so I’m glad I have dental wax to hold them in place.

I also have a job interview this afternoon. A group interview, now I don’t know if it’s a group of other applicants or me and a group of HR people. Talking is still a problem for me especially with these worn out and shredded temps of mine. But I’ll just have to inform them prior to the start of the interview what’s going on. If I get this job, I hope they will understand about needing the day for the dental appointment.

So there’s the update for you. I’m STILL waiting….
