Two weeks from today I’ll have my first 3 hour oral surgery set to get my bottoms sorted out. In a way I’m looking forward to it because I’ll be able to eat better instead of being picky about my choices. I really don’t know what’s going to transpire. I know I had a bottom bridge made but not sure how he’s going to attach it. I’m guessing he’s going to leave either a tooth or one of my implants in to anchor it.
I also requested for my tops to be re-seated. I had normally gone about 6 months to a year before the glue broke down and I needed them to be re-glued but since I have one implant that became loose he didn’t put glue in that are which, oddly, held my tops in for far longer. We’re going on two years without a re-glue. But over the course of the second year they just feel a bit funny, like they could slip off with eating or sometimes even just sneezing or talking. Glad he’ll sort them because they way I see this going is that I’ll have this bottom bridge throughout Christmas and New Years. I’ll be having some oral surgery done and I’ll need time to heal before the prepping of the final implants. I wouldn’t want my tops to be a problem during this time frame.
Anyhoos. I’m looking forward to the day off from work and possibly the following Monday if the swelling hasn’t gone down. Kinda nervous about the bridge and what that’s gonna look like but in time.
Got my Dental Playlist sorted so I can take a chill pill and completely zone out. 3 hours feels like a long time but I know it’ll feel like 1 maybe.
Will prep the before pictures shortly and I might post again prior to the appointment. Toodles for now!
