It’s now been 6 days since the appointment. I’m beginning to feel a lot better with the grafting site. Still a bit of a stiff upper lip (LOL!) but it’s doing fine. My dentist said I can use mouthwash now because I felt it really odd to just be brushing my lower teeth.

My next appointment now isn’t until January 10th so I can breathe a bit easy and enjoy my holidays. As far as eating goes, it’s still a little hard to eat things. I have to stick with soft foods like mashed potatoes and the like. But I did eat chicken! It was cut up into tiny bits but I was able to break it up fairly easily with the roof of my mouth and my tongue. Took a while to eat that meal but it was absolute HEAVEN!

My face has pretty much gone back to normal. Slight slight yellow tinge on my cheeks but the rest is all good. I’ll post another full face photo a bit later.

I also have a new job to look forward to. I start January 1st. Casual position but will be ok since I’ll be buggered down with all these dental appointments. Looking forward to having a normal smile again! 😀
